Prior to joining Lumature Wealth Partners, Rocky was a vice president for Goldman Sachs, a managing director for United Capital Financial Advisers and previously affiliated with Professional Planning Associates (PPA). Rocky joined PPA in 1982 and later served as a board member of the Georgia chapter of the Financial Planning Association. He also holds the Certified Financial Planner certification.

For nearly 40 years, Rocky has served a wide range of clients, using his vast experience to help develop their financial and personal goals. He and his team implement investment and planning strategies tailored to help fulfill each individual’s goals. Aside from his professional experience, Rocky has served as an instructor of a pre-retirement planning course at Emory University’s Evening at Emory program. He’s also led a variety of financial planning seminars in the Atlanta area, and has served on the Atlanta Journal Constitution’s Money Management hotline.

A basketball scholarship took Rocky to Lenoir-Rhyne College in North Carolina, where he graduated with a B.A. in business administration. Upon graduation, he played basketball for Athletes in Action and Campus Crusade for Christ, and later played professional basketball internationally.

Rocky, a native of Atlanta, lives in Alpharetta and attends Northpoint Community Church. In his spare time, he enjoys exercise and golf.
